Health

During the Conference, a medical centre will be open on the hotel premises and medical personnel will be available to provide emergency and primary health care if required.  In the unlikely event that a patient becomes seriously ill, or requires serious medical attention, an ambulance will be available to provide emergency transportation to the nearest appropriate health facility.

Any treatment requiring a prescription, hospital examination, or hospitalization will be at the expense of the delegate.  Delegates are encouraged to obtain medical travel insurance. Barbados has two hospitals located within 15 minutes from the hotel, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (public) and the Bayview Hospital (private).
