Dress code

UNDP Barbados and the OECS Subregional Office advises that delegates to the SIDS/SE4All and Rio+20 Informal Ministerial Conference should take into account the weather conditions in Barbados.  Even though the climate in Barbados is hot and humid, it is commonplace for men to wear suits with jackets and ties, and women, wear tailored skirts/or pants suits to meetings and conferences.

Delegates are requested to dress in business entire for the conference.  For the dinner events, the dress code is elegantly casual or semi-formal.  For the cultural evening on the Wednesday, 9 May, delegates have the option of wearing their national dress.
